Being seriously ill can be scary, especially if you live alone. Imagine what it would be like if you were sick in the small village where there was no doctor’s office. A neighbor told you that you could get medical help through your cell phone...but there was only one problem, the doctor on the other end of the line didn’t speak your language!
Sharing the Gospel through Telemedicine. Because of the coronavirus restrictions on travel, we have had to cancel our medical expeditions to remote parts of Russia indefinitely. Last month our Agape doctors teamed up with a church in eastern Siberia to bring hope to isolated people in the region by providing online consultations and videos related to their medical conditions. The local pastor assisted the patients with language translation because many spoke their native language, not Russian! God finds a way when there is no way! Please pray for this pastor as he reaches out to people in his community who need medical and spiritual help and for Agape doctors as they struggle to meet the needs both in Moscow and Siberia.
